Poetry Co-Editor & Graphic Designer|
HCE Review
August 2018 – August 2019

The HCE Review is a literary and arts journal established by the MA and MFA Creative Writing program at University College Dublin. Participation with the journal is on a volunteer basis, but I was able to serve as a Poetry Co-Editor and graphic designer for the journal’s digital launch. Duties included choosing poems from submissions, suggesting edits internally before sending the request externally, and creating an entirely new template using only Microsoft Word.

Barista | Blue Bottle
February 2018 – August 2018

Front of house duties included register, drink making, and floor upkeep. Palo Alto continues to be one of the largest Blue Bottle locations in the country. The location also required Baristas to be fully trained in kitchen service.

Creative Coordinator | Clinton Foundation
March 2015 – June 2017

Helped conceive and create visual/multimedia and written content for Clinton Foundation digital properties, print materials, and events. Coordinated production, including gathering assets and requirements. Managed Foundation’s video and photo archive, maintaining consistent records. Trafficked photo and video requests with internal and external parties and assisted the multimedia team with shoots, including pre-planning and field work. Spent the last year curating, optimizing, and recording metadata for +15 years’ worth of imagery for cloud and local archiving.

Front Desk Associate | Midboro Management, Inc.
May 2013 – November 2014

Assisted in maintaining an orderly office environment to a company that manages over 100 buildings in Manhattan–duties included mailing, assisting back of house, payroll, and other departments, as well as greeting clients and handling deliveries. These duties were in addition to answering high-volume phone inquiries, answering about 100-150 calls a day.

Barista | Le Pain Quotidien
August 2012 – May 2013

The usual gamet of responsibilities for a barista, specializing in espresso based drinks while handling other varietals as well. Handled front of house up-keep, telephone inquiries, deliveries, and all orders. Some service experience also required for the location.

Caregiver | Private Client
November 2011 – June 2012

Oversaw early-childhood development and daily necessities for toddler of local business owner and corporate executive.

Multimedia Intern | Clinton Foundation
September 2012 – January 2013

Edited images, video, and sound of various events within the Foundation, usually involving press sensitive materials. Helped maintain the Foundation’s photo and video archive, film speeches and conferences, and provide transcriptions for supervisor. Also assisted in photo selection for web-ready materials and exporting video for press-ready codecs and external requests.
